It's a lot of fun living in Branson, MO. You never know who or what you will see. There's always something going on! We have many restaurants, Branson shows and attractions to keep us busy, but what keeps me here is the overall family-friendly atmosphere.
This is still a place that welcomes those of us with traditional Christian values and a patriotic America world view.
At times traffic can be a bit hectic (for this part of the country), but really it's not bad at all. There are so many alternate driving routs in and around Branson now, that one is only stuck in traffic as long as they want to be.

Like I said in the video above, technology has had an impact on Branson. I'm not talking about the flashy LED signs or light shows. I'm speaking of the internet and modern communication.
Here's an example. I was sitting Grand Country Music Hall one Friday night, when they mentioned that Bridgette Cameron Ridenour (sister of Kirk Cameron and Candace Cameron Bure) was in the audience.
I have long admired her family for not only their acting abilities, but for their stand as followers of Christ. When I got home from the show, I sent Bridgette a message on social media asking for a brief interview.
She accepted and you can watch the video interview here. Things like that happen here all the time.
We live in a marvelous time. The world is changing fast. I love that Branson has one foot in tradition and one foot marching into the future.
I am looking forward to seeing what 2019 will bring to our little town in the Ozark Mountains!
