BIG news for fans of Barry Williams, his good friends The Haygoods and Branson. GAC (Great American Country) is filming a new television series titled A Very Barry Branson.
Now everyone in the world is going to be reminded of just how great our town is!
According to the official press release, "A Very Barry Branson will premiere on Great American Country in early 2015. In six half-hour episodes, A Very Barry Branson follows Williams as he
works to create and promote his stage show, gets to know the locals, and
attempts to make Branson his home."
Having had the chance to get to know Barry a little bit during the filming of Boonie Woonie (coming to DVD soon) and elsewhere around town, I can honestly say that he is a good guy who really does care about Branson.
“Branson
represents everything I love about America, including the Ozarks, the
people, the beautiful lakes,” said Barry. “Performing my ‘70s Music
Celebration show here is icing on the cake.”
