Today, Rattlesnake Eddie Wood of Crooked Sky Trading Post presented our friend Leroy New with a customized guitar strap at his show in the Little Opry Theater.
This was no ordinary guitar strap! It was a Python snakeskin mounted to hand-cut and tooled leather with a special pigskin lining on the back for comfort.

This craftsmanship is a true work of art. Eddie Wood, known as Rattlesnake Eddie has been working with leather since the 1970s and is a true artist.
Leroy's new guitar strap has the word, Wizard engraved into the leather. This is the term most used to describe this veteran performer's guitar playing. Leroy's show at IMAX features the music of the late Marty Robins as well as some of his original music.
A large audience including Branson IMAX owners Paul and Ann Bluto with daughter Michelle were in attendance for the presentation. The theatre is located inside the Branson IMAX Entertainment Complex.
