The Sons Of Britches Show

By Danny Branson
I had a really good time last night at the Sons Of Britches Show.
It was great to sit back, laugh and enjoy most unique stage show in Branson.

There are lots of good Branson Shows of course, but what sets the Sons Of Britches show apart is that the audience gets to pick the songs.

"It can get pretty interesting sometimes," says Louis Darby, founding member and award winning Fiddle Champion.

These veteran performers (click here for cast) have have a massive musical repertoire. However, if by chance a song is requested that the need a little help with, they whip out their trusty smart phone and it's "Google to the rescue!"

During last night's show, we were treated to hear songs made famous by artists ranging from Charlie Daniels and Gene Autry to Garth Brooks and The Brady Bunch.  They frequently play Traditional-Classic Country, Classic Rock, Bluegrass, Swing, Cajun, Western & Gospel.

Just about every show in Branson with a fiddle player performs the Orange Blossom Special. This group is the only one that regularly receives a standing ovation for their efforts.
