Branson's Tour Guide

A Night Out With Texas Dar (Branson, MO)

By Darwin Schmitz
There's a new trend in Branson.  It seems that everybody's going to La Piazza (next to the Hugh's Brother's Theater) to eat before going to see their favorite Branson show.

Ol' Dar wanted to see what all of the excitement was about so I took Miss Ann to check it out.  We met up with Mary Lou Turner, from the "Grand Ol Opry" and a few close friends.  As soon as we

walked in we could tell why this place is a hit.  We were greeted as soon as we walked in, they had a piano player and lot of servers flyin' around the restaurant helping people.

I have to say dinner was reeeally good. We will be going back!

After dinner, we made a quick stop to see our pals RattleSnake Eddie and Debbie Wood at Crooked Sky Trading Post.  I needed a new belt (this is unrelated to the fact that I just had dinner!)

Next, we were off to The Haygoods for a Sold Out Show.  For those 3 people who still haven't seen their show, take it from me, ya gotta see them.

The Haygoods always deliver and have an outstanding show. They jump, they fly, they do lots of things but above all, they know how to sing and play music!

We ended our night at the Rowdy Beaver where we ran into lots of friends from Grand Country.  As always, it was a good night to be in Branson.
